It is the second-largest of the three University of Toronto campuses. The site of the campus is the former estate of Reginald Watkins, which was acquired by the University of Toronto in Founded as Erindale College in , construction of the University’s main building began in Although this building was originally meant to be temporary, the building remained until as part of the North Building. The campus consists of a number of buildings arranged across a large, treed lot. The surrounding suburban neighbourhood the Mississauga Road area and the Credit Woodlands is a fairly affluent section of the city of Mississauga. The largest building was built as a megalithic structure, predominantly out of concrete, as was typical of the brutalist architecture style of the late s. It was one of architect Raymond Moriyama ‘s first major commissions.

UofT tried a new format for their Winter General Meeting. While turnout was not spectacular, the level of engagement was amazing. Then, the speed dating. So we placed a cue card on each chair with a number on it. This number corresponds to a number that the EWB volunteers got.
Every February, a plethora of original one act plays compete for five coveted awards over the three nights of this annual adjudicated festival. Over 80 years since its inception in , and since Trevor Rines resurrected it in , the U of T Drama Festival has provided a high profile showcase for up-and-coming theatrical talent as well as an accessible avenue for U of T students to perform and direct on the historic Hart House Theatre stage.
This year also marks the 18th Drama Festival of only accepting original student written plays, serving as a much needed showcase for talented U of T playwrights. No Latecomers will be admitted once a performance has begun. Late seating will occur at an appropriate break. An awards ceremony will occur at the conclusion of the Festival on Saturday evening. Eligible students will have received an email from the Faculty of Arts and Science in June with instructions on how to register in Arrive Ready programs. George campus of the University of Toronto. PUMP provides the necessary foundation upon which the greater generality and abstraction of university mathematics is based. PUMP is a non-credit course. Because it does not count towards a degree, the stress associated with course marks is reduced and students can better concentrate on their learning.
PUMP participants are given an inside view of what to expect in their future university math courses, how to cope with the demands of courses, and what their prospects are. In short, successful PUMP students will have better insight into which first-year math course s to choose and will be generally better prepared for university. PUMP has regularly-scheduled assessments that reflect university standards.
Students will have the opportunity to measure their own progress throughout the course. Ontario high school students applying on the application form are expected to present MCV4U – Calculus and Vectors for admission to all science, math, and commerce programs in the Faculty of Arts and Science, St. George Campus. In general terms, a student must have a working knowledge of basic high school algebra, linear and quadratic functions, and elementary analytic geometry.
Students who do not have this background may still enroll and can do well if they work hard.

In a few minutes, they will all walk into an intimidating round of quick summer-job interviews – often likened to speed-dating – that could determine whether they realize their dreams of a career on Bay Street. But Ms. Costante says she’s just trying to warm up her fingers before shaking hands with potential employers, after she heard that a friend was chided for her cold hands.
But seven years of singing opera and chamber music have prepared her well for this kind of performance.
